Labor DayWe braved the beach
thinking we would be fighting crowds,
hunting for parking,
and vying for a spot on the sand.
Instead...
we had the whole place to ourselves,
fought raindrops,
and donned sweatshirts.
Farewell summer,
you'll be missed,
see you next year.
It was the same out by the pool today (even though I was just looking out while on the treadmill). It's a sad thing to see summer leave!
